Church Talks and Scriptures

Since the new year Luke, Lily and Kate have graduated out of the nursery and into primary at church. This has been very exciting for them and they love their sunbeam class. Last week Kate came home with a note asking her to give the talk this week and Luke came home with a note asking him to do the scripture. They have been ecstatic all week(of course Lily was a little jealous, but I am sure she will have plenty of turns).

Luke said his scripture nice and loud into the microphone. He did just perfect. Kate didn't want any help in preparing or saying her talk, but I did help her just a little :) She brought a picture of our family and showed all the kids. She then talked about how she loved her family and thankful that we get to be together forever. She spoke so clear and perfect! My parents were visiting at our ward today, so it was special that they got to come watch too. I was so proud of my kiddos!
