Back up to Christmas Eve

Oh, the holidays have been so fun. This year, every one(except Bruce and his family) got together at Heather's house for Christmas Eve. We had Mexican food and the traditional cheese and chocolate fondues...mmm! Then, we had our program. All the families contribute. The musical numbers are always fun. My mom had us open the gifts we had given to Jesus last year and write down new gifts that we would work on for this next year. Sophie was as happy as can be just toddling around the whole evening. I had asked the triplets if they wanted to sing a Christmas song for the program and they were ecstatic. They sang Christmas Bells are Ringing. It was priceless. Then, we had the classic nativity scene while my dad read from Luke 2. Jill did a great job with the costumes. Lily was Mary and she took her role very seriously. Luke was a shepherd. Kate was the angel. It was so fun getting together with every one to celebrate the birth of Christ. Then, it was off to bed quickly so Santa could come :)
