When we moved into our house, there were a few things that we wanted to do before our furniture arrived. We wanted to put some fresh paint on the walls and new carpet on the ground. So, we scheduled our truck to come about 2 weeks after we moved in. Since we decided to do nothing new to the basement at this time, this is where we lived for 2 weeks in sleeping bags. So, no fridge, no washer/dryer, etc. for 2 weeks. Needless to say, we were out of the house most of the day. I had packed a small tv and a lot of craft stuff though. The kids did a lot of crafts. Here are a few examples. For some reason I couldn't get these 2 pictures to turn the right way.
Notice how the kids draw pictures of me with sweets and a soda. What does that say about me? :)

cute kids! We really need to get together sometime! I want to see pictures of the new house too! Hope you guys are doing well and are finally all settled in. What did the kids think of the snow the other day?
