We returned home a little over a week ago. It is always so hard to return to reality. We had so much fun! Here is a recap of some of the fun things that we did.
Several of our days were spent out at the lake. The kids loved playing in the sand. We were also able to go boating and kayaking.

Sophie was a big fan of the "boat." She kept saying "boat" while doing the sign for it-adorable.

For the first week we were at Bear Lake, the floating trampoline or "fun island" remained on the grass and provided many hours of entertainment.

We made smores a couple of times while we were at Bear Lake. Yummy!

Dan took Kate to the Minnetonka Cave with Dave M. and his kids. It is such a cool tour. She was a little nervous at first, but Dan said she had a good time.
Dan also took Luke fishing with Dave M. and his boys. I am sure Luke really enjoyed some boy time. There are way too many girls in our house. :)

We took the kids to the Paris Ice Cave to check it out.

Lily was very nervous when we got there, but enjoyed it after she realized there was nothing to be afraid of.

We went up to Salt Lake for a few days so that we could visit with the Schwebach family. Adam and Lisa let us stay at their house. Riley had his birthday party while we were there and the whole family came over. It was fun to catch up with every body. The kids had a fabulous time playing with their cousins that we don't get to see as often.

While we were in Salt Lake we also went and visited Oma and Opa Peterson. They treated the kids to McDonalds and Happy Meals. They were so excited to go and play in the playplace. we had a nice visit with them.
After all of this fun we faced the dreaded drive home. We split it into 2 days and stayed overnight in Las Vegas. While we were there, we took the kids to M&M World and to the lion habitat at MGM. We also went and had a fabulous breakfast at the Excalibur buffet. We took advantage of the fact that all of our kids are 3 and under and still free to eat. :) Only 1 more month till the triplets are 4. I can't believe it!
We had a blast and I can't wait till next year when we go again. I love creating fun memories with our family.
